Norse Projects
Norse Projects’ history
Tobia Sloth and Mikkel Grønnebæk have been working for years in the streetwear industry before Norse Projects existed. After worldwide successes, the Danish duo decided to start off with Norse Projects in their living room in 2004. Norse Projects is originated from a skateboard store chain. It started as an in-store clothing line, but in 2004 the brand opened her Norse Projects flagship-store in the middle of the centre of Copenhagen. The store opened as an art gallery and a streetwear shop. Later in 2009, Norse Projects dropped their first own collection for men. Quickly Norse Projects became a big pioneer in Denmark and is currently one of the biggest brands in Denmark. Despite the growth and the big reputation, Norse Projects remains calm and down to earth. ‘Norse Projects will keep doing with what it started with. We want to make more steps and developments, but in our own Norse Projects way’, Mikkel Grønnebæk tells. Last decennium Norse Projects had multiple collaborations with collections that have different technical products, with outdoor clothing, sport clothing etc. Examples are Norse Project X SUICOKE or Norse Projects X Tricker’s. In here you can see too that Norse Projects designs their clothing in their own Norse Projects way.
High-quality and aesthetically good Norse Projects items
Norse Projects clothing is influenced by the old-school work clothing and by streetwear. This combined with high-end fashion. Thereby, Norse Projects highly valuates releasing quality items. The Danish brand wants clothing to last for a long time so people can enjoy to the fullest. That’s why Norse Projects lets all of their clothes produce in Italy or Portugal.
Norse Projects makes clean streetwear with a stylish European twist. The materials are made of highly qualitative fabrics and the clothes have a smooth design. But also on a technical level Norse Projects is doing a good job. Norse Projects has e.g. multiple GORE-TEX items. You can conclude Norse Projects meets their slogan: ‘products that are CREATED FOR LIFE – GOOD FOR ALL SEASONS.’
